The Director of People is a strategic leader responsible for all aspects of human resources and talent management at Paxful. This role is crucial in shaping the company’s people strategy, fostering a high-performing and inclusive culture, and developing Paxful’s most valuable asset—its people.
Requirements of a Director of People
- Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in HR and people operations.
- Experience in tech, fintech, or crypto preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of HR policies, practices, and compensation benchmarking.
- Proven ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Expertise in equity compensation management platforms (e.g., Carta, Pulley).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Understanding of local labor laws and regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
Responsibilities of a Director of People
- Develop and lead company culture initiatives.
- Streamline organizational structures to adapt to fast growth.
- Collaborate with department managers on employee communication matters.
- Design and implement onboarding and training programs.
- Collect and analyze employee feedback through surveys.
- Create competitive benefits and compensation structures.
- Design the hiring process and candidate experience.
- Conduct benchmark studies to define Paxful’s employer brand.
- Review and recommend improvements to HR policies and practices.
- Oversee employee engagement initiatives.
